In summer 2015 Countryside had a social media following of 10,500 and were active across all of the main social media channels. Following a rigorous competitor audit, we concluded their social media presence should reflect their growth strategy.
In-depth data analysis was completed to increase fans to 24,000 across all channels by Christmas 2015. An integrated social media advertising and content marketing campaign was launched in September 2015. It was considered paramount that good quality content for b2b and b2c audiences should be published in order to attract fans organically, maintain existing fans and create good audience relationships. Separate content marketing plans were created for this purpose.
By mid-November Countryside had met its target of 24,000 total fans and by Christmas 2015 Countryside had 25,000 fans, with the campaign coming in 3% under budget.
Click throughs to the Countryside website increased by 190%, organic reach was up by 113% and the carefully crafted content achieved nearly 33,000 interactions over the course of just 3 months.
