The National Housing Awards (NHAs) aim to recognise the best in British housebuilding. The 7th September 2017 saw the 11th annual National Housing Awards, held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. This was Oracle’s fifth year working at the awards, managing the Twitter campaign during the six months prior to, and at the ceremony itself.
When Oracle first took on the management of the Twitter account in 2013, the initial target was to gain 200 followers by the end of September, with the final total standing at 289. As of September 2017, the @NHAwards2017 account had over 1,500 followers.
Through the use of competitions and quizzes, GIFs and animations, interaction during key points in the campaign soared. On the day, live tweeting included announcing award winners during the ceremony as well as interacting with exhibitors on social media, ensuring those not in attendance were kept up to date with everything happening.
