In 2013 Hastoe, a leading housing association, launched a unique development in Wimbish, Essex based on the energy efficient Passivhaus standard. A German-Scandinavian concept the Passivhaus standard was created to have an extremely low carbon footprint and cut down on energy costs.

Following the success of the initial project, Hastoe wanted to launch another development in the same location on the open market. As part of the marketing strategy Hastoe appointed Oracle Group to create a unique brand that would allow the concept, to be rolled out nationally. It would have to be accessible, appealing to the mass market, without losing the science behind the concept.

Oracle Group prepared a full communications strategy and branding concept. Our design team created multiple ideas, which would fit this specific brief.

The brand was rolled out across brochures, leaflets, a microsite and social media to support the sale and promotion of the homes. The Vivohaus brand will be used for every Passivhaus development Hastoe launches going forward.
