What’s new at Oracle HQ

We thought it was time for a bit of a catch-up! With a variety of new clients comes new team members, job promotions, and of course, new ideas. Here at Oracle, we like to embrace change, push the boundaries and continue to grow as a company. Here’s a sneak peek at what we’ve been up to…

Movers and Shakers

Over the last few months, we’ve been busy with five new members of staff joining the Oracle team. This summer, a number of fresh-faced graduates made the transition from university life and entered the working world by joining us. We welcomed Marketing graduate Bijan Shahrezaey into the Digital team as a Digital and Social Content Executive, Emily Moggridge joined our PR team as an Account Executive and Gemma Moyle has taken on the role of Admin Assistant, in addition to assisting the PR team. They have really hit the ground running.

We have also recently welcomed two PR Apprentices, Ellie Keon and Kristie Nanson, who are enjoying delving into the world of PR while studying and learning on the job!

In other news, two of our team have earned well-deserved promotions. Shannen Bulley, who has been with us for two years, was promoted to PR Account Manager and Alice McCutcheon is now a PR Senior Account Manager. One of our directors, Nicola Borrow, has also enjoyed moving into her role as PR and Events Director, utilising her previous event experience to ensure our client events are ones to remember.

And finally, the biggest news to brace Oracle, and arguably the most exciting, was that our CEO Caroline Coskry welcomed twin girls into the world! Bella and Evie are already regulars in the Oracle office and have been swamped with cuddles from the team.

 

 

The Oracle Touch

This year at Oracle, it’s been all about training. Our team have been out and about on a variety of training days and networking events. From public speaking, people management, to awakening your inner creativity, we’ve done it all!

Putting these all into practice, we’ve been tuning into new ways to develop and build our client’s brand. Most notably, we have been out on the hunt to find young, fresh and relevant brand ambassadors. With the ever-growing importance of social media and the development of Web 2.0, it is important that young people are targeted this way. Influencers with large social followings help companies to target a younger and broader audience.

As well as developing these strategies, we are always considering our client offering. We have introduced a new Social Media Consultancy Package to our list of services. This offers in-depth reporting and analysis on all social media activity, with constructive advice and practical guidance from our experts on what is working well, and how to improve engagement and boost reach of content and posts. Think of it as on-the-go training, a great way to make sure you’re getting the best results from your social media platforms.

At Oracle, we are constantly pushing ourselves above and beyond to challenge ourselves to be the best that we can be. We’ve had an exciting year so far and we look forward to what the future holds.
